10 Unique Uses for Q-tip Cotton Swabs

We all use q-tips in our day to day life. However todays post is some ways you can put your q-tip to other beauty uses. I love q-tips because they are cheap and so versatile.

1) Fix your eye makeup. Dip the q-tip into some make remover solution and use it to clean up the edges of your eye makeup.

2) Line your Eyes. Dip the q-tip in either gel eyeliner or eyeshadow and use the tip of the q-tip to line your eyes.

3) Highlight you brows. The round tip applicator of a q-tip allows for great precision. Another use is to highlight underneath your brows with the q-tip.

4) Keep a scent fresh. Because perfume scents can fade fast use the q-tip to keep it fresh. Dip the q-tip in your favorite perfume and seal in a plastic bag. When ready to use simply take it out of the plastic bag and apply it.

5) Moisture your eye lashes. Just as we condition our hair it is important to moisturize our eye lashes. In order to condition your lashes use your q-tip to apply petroleum jelly or olive oil to your lashes.

6) Reduce under eye puffiness. Throw several water drenched q-tips in a zip lock bag and place it in the fridge to cool. Once the q-tips are chilled roll it under your eyes to reduce puffiness.

7) Smoke out your eyeshadow. Use the q-tip to smudge out your eyeshadow in order to create a smokey effect.

8) Maximize every makeup product. Use your q-tip to scoop out every last bit of makeup whether it your foundation or lip gloss.

9) Mattify your lipgloss. Dab the q-tip on your lips to create a softer look as well as to mattify your gloss.

10) Create your own mixture. Use your q-tip to mix your DIY  mixtures. Whether your DIY nail polish that you can make by mixing old eyeshadows with a base coat or by mixing different nail polishes to create your own unique color.
