Winter Shower Routine (2013)

Hi Everyone,

For today's post I decided to share with you my winter shower routine.

Step 1: I start by shampooing my hair. The shampoo I am currently loving is the Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo. I love this shampoo because it really helps with preventing frizz in my hair and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. I also love the coconut scent to it.

Step 2: After shampooing my hair once, I apply a pinch of conditioner to the ends and the roots of my hair. The conditioner I am currently using is the Herbal essences Touchable Smooth conditioner. When I am finished with my conditioner I wrap my hair it in my shower cap. I do this so the product really settles in and works its magic.

Step 3: While my conditioner is settling in I start by exfoliating my legs as my skin gets extra dry in the winter months. I use this exfoliator that I received as a gift. However I make sure to exfoliate only 1-2 times.

Step 4: After exfoliating my skin I apply my body wash with a luffa. My current favorite body wash has been Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Wash from Bath and Body Works. Something about the warm vanilla scent just screams winter to me.

Step 5: Then I wash my face with the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub. This is an amazing every day face wash as not only does it contain exfoliating beads but it also contains vitamin c that really helped with brightening and freshening my face.

Step 6: After I finish everything I take out my hair from the shower cap and rinse my hair with cold water in order to prevent frizz.

Step 7: Finally after my shower, in order to keep my body moisturized, I apply a body butter to my legs and arms. I love body body butters especially for the winter, as the thicker consistency helps with the drier skin. My current favorite body butter has been Gingerbread Sparkle Body Butter from The Body Shop.

Hope you enjoyed this post! Leave me a comment below telling me the products you use in your shower routine :)
